Job Description:
This role is hybrid, which means you will work both from home and in the office as needed. It is based in either our Mountain View, CA, San Francisco, CA, or New York City office.

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Strategic Finance to lead our Monetization Strategic Finance team. This person will work closely with senior leaders to create long-term strategies, prioritize key efforts, and help drive the growth of LinkedIn Sales Solutions (LSS). You should have experience in strategic decision-making, leading transformational projects, and working with senior leaders. The ideal candidate should also have strong analytical skills and a proven ability to guide teams towards impactful change.

You will report to LinkedIn’s Senior Director of LSS Strategic Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Find new growth opportunities and suggest strategic recommendations.

  • Ensure that growth opportunities are carefully evaluated, considering trade-offs across different functions.

  • Use data and trends to influence decision-making among stakeholders and executives.

  • Communicate clearly to help decision-making on strategic issues affecting LSS.

  • Lead multiple projects or processes within the team.

  • Identify obstacles early and recommend innovative solutions.

  • Collaborate with teams from Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Finance, and more to drive projects forward.

  • Oversee teams managing performance, forecasts, and risk analysis.

  • Help develop team members by providing coaching and feedback, fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

  • At least 8 years of experience in finance, management consulting, investment banking, or a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of people management experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in the technology industry.

  • At least 2 years of experience working with product or R&D teams.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas and make actionable recommendations.

Compensation:

  • The pay range for this role is between $146,000 and $237,000, based on experience, skills, and location.
